Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Youth Bowling Showcase

This event will…

  • Allow youth bowlers the chance to display their skills, attributes, and personalities to collegiate-level coaches in hopes of building connections and contacts that could help the bowlers pursue the opportunity of continuing their bowling career. 

  • Allow collegiate-level bowling coaches a venue to view potential recruits from the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area while showcasing the general talent level of bowlers from the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Competition Format

The competitive sections will consist of two (2) sessions, each consisting of three (3) games. All games will follow standard USBC rules and guidelines. Scratch scoring will be used, with no handicaps being factored in. Scores will be collected at the end of each session.

Awards

The bowler with the highest overall total pin count from both sessions in their division will receive an award. Additional divisional rewards will be presented for every 5 bowlers in a division to a maximum of three awards for a single division. These awards will be called class standout awards.

The bowlers with the highest overall single-game pin count from each class will receive an award. The bowlers with the highest overall three-game series pin count from each class will receive an award. The bowlers from each class with the highest overall all-pin count from both sessions will receive an award. These awards will be called divisional standout awards. 

Any ties will be settled via the bowler with the highest single-game score during the 2nd session.

SMART funds that are collected from general financial donations and entry fees will be divided between the divisions and classes based on the number of entries in the classes per division. Any dedicated financial donations to a designated division and/or class will be divided per the instruction given by the person or persons making the donation.

9:00 AM: Collegiate Coaches Check-in and Setup

9:30 AM: Bowling Participant Check-in Starts 

9:45 AM: Coaches’ Meeting

10:00 AM: Event Start 

10:00 AM: Meet & Greet (Concourse Area)

10:50 AM: Practice #1 Starts

11:00 AM: Competitive Series #1 Starts

12:00 PM: Lunch

1:00 PM  Practice #2 Starts 

1:10 PM  Competitive Series #2 Starts

2:15 PM  Awards & Event Completion 

2:30 PM: Networking & On-Lane Workouts

4:00 PM: Lanes turned off.

After 4:00 PM: Social Time at the Center (As Needed)
